Exit interviews are a valuable source of information if you want to get the inside scoop on what your employees really experience in their day-to-day at work.
If you’ve been experiencing high turnover and/or want to change the culture of your organisation so that you retain your employees then I highly recommend that you introduce exit interviews to your offboarding process.
To complement the data you glean from exit interviews I also highly recommend conducting employee net promoter surveys with your existing staff. If your business is experiencing high absenteeism or you’ve noticed a decline in your staff’s performance then a net promoter survey is ideal for gaining the insights necessary to implement effective organisational culture change. Best of all, it can be done in as little as only two questions!
